The crash happened around 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, in the 2000 block of Daniels Road in Ellicott City, according to Howard County police. Investigators said the girl was riding her bicycle in the roadway when she fell into the path of a 2004 Sterling LT9500 dump truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
